The Story of Sun Wukong
Sun Wukong, also known as the Monkey King, is a legendary figure from the classic Chinese novel Journey to the West. Born from a mystical stone and imbued with celestial powers, Sun Wukong is known for his intelligence, strength, and rebellious spirit.
Wukong’s audacious adventures include defying the heavenly realms, acquiring powerful weapons like the Ruyi Jingu Bang (Golden Staff), and battling formidable enemies. However, his unrestrained nature brought chaos, requiring intervention from the Buddha and his master, Tang Sanzang.
To guide Wukong on his path to enlightenment, Tang Sanzang placed a magical headband on him, activated by the tightening spell. When Wukong disobeyed or succumbed to his wild impulses, the spell would tighten, causing discomfort. Over time, this painful reminder helped him grow into a disciplined and wise companion, ultimately achieving enlightenment.

You definitely can tell they were matched decently well, and cleaned partially before shipping. Only one deeply seeded darkened spot remained, and it was easily cleaned with some picking and brushing. No yellowing or cracking. Overall, after a week or so, I can safely say these were a good choice to grab for the price!
